The range

Two vegetative-spectrum models

Same spectral curve, two power levels. The choice depends on crop height and the area each fixture must cover.

Coverage figures are indicative and depend on mounting height and the target PPFD of each phase. We calculate them from your real measurements. The renders are of the Mega Optic family and do not distinguish between the two power levels.

Vegetative vs. Full Spectrum

Full Spectrum works for everything. This spectrum works for this phase

A full-spectrum fixture replicates sunlight and performs at any stage. In growth, weighting the curve toward blue acts more surgically.

Full Spectrum

Versatile, for the whole cycle

Integrates wavelengths across the whole visible range, with a high proportion of red (600–700 nm) and far-red (700–800 nm). A single install covers mothers, growth and flowering.

Vegetative spectrum

Dedicated to the growth phase

Higher peaks at 400–500 nm, in sync with the other wavelengths. In early stages it delivers exactly the light signal the plant needs to grow compact and vigorous.

Both have their place. If your install is a single room that runs the whole cycle, Full Spectrum is the answer. If you have separate vegetation or mother-plant rooms, dedicating the spectrum to that phase is what raises yield.

Plant physiology

What blue does inside the plant

In growth the goal isn't uncontrolled elongation but a solid architecture able to support heavy flowering. Blue is the signal that directs it, in three steps.

01

Blue is captured

Cryptochromes and phototropins are photoreceptors that activate independently at each stage and absorb specifically in the blue band.

02

The stem stops stretching

Activating those receptors triggers photomorphogenic responses that inhibit excessive elongation: shorter internodes, thick stems and large leaves.

03

The leaf opens and assimilates more

Blue stimulates proton pumping in guard cells, causing maximum stomatal opening: more CO₂ assimilated and faster photosynthetic rates.

What you gain

What changes in the room

Four measurable effects of dedicating the spectrum to the growth phase — in the plant and on the bottom line.

01

Compact structure and more shoots

Short internodes and thick stems give more shoot points on the same plant height.

02

More efficiency per watt

Energy and photosynthetic efficiency at once: the photons emitted are the ones the plant uses in this phase.

03

Less heat to dissipate

More controlled dissipation in the room, with all that means for the climate and the cooling equipment.

04

Fewer growth days

The phase is shortened with better final structure, and the plant enters flowering with maximum energy.

Applications

Where this spectrum makes sense

Dedicated vegetation rooms

Installations where the growth cycle has its own room. Not sharing space with flowering, the spectrum can be fully dedicated to this phase.

Mother plants and propagation

Mothers dedicated to producing cuttings: short internodes, thick stems and healthy leaves matter, not height. That's exactly what a blue-heavy curve produces.
